Congratulations to Edward for being the only student in the borough of Enfield to complete his Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award during 2019/20. A massive achievement in which he completed a canoeing expedition on the River Wye, spent a week dog sledding in wild Canada and learnt new skills such in Engineering and working with the Fire Brigade.
Well done to Vanshi who has been helping the Young Carers Foundation throughout Lockdown and has run a half marathon for Place2Be. We are proud of what she is doing to support the local community.

Kooth’s aim is to keep the service it offers to young people confidential. This means that Kooth’s team of counsellors won’t talk about your child to other people outside of the Kooth Team.

Our Brilliant Club, Scholars Programme results are in: over 90% of participants achieved a 1st or 2:1 in their final dissertations. Huge congratulations to the students involved – your UCL PhD tutor was hugely impressed as are we! Well done! (photo prior to lockdown)
We said a sad goodbye to our wonderful Year 11s on Friday. They have worked so hard, and we are so disappointed that they won’t have a chance to prove just how brilliant they are in the exams this Summer. We couldn’t be more proud.
The Salvation Army, Enfield, would like to thank all the staff and students of the school for their generous donations at the end of the Autumn term which were used to make ‘Rescue Rucksacks’ for the homeless. #ChaceStudentCouncil
Day 1 of our Spring Teaching and Learning Hub event. Already 40 staff have visited the Hub. We are looking at Stages of Practice based on Rosenshine’s Principles. Some brilliant discussions and useful examples.
On Friday 6th March Year 12 students visited the North London Higher Education Fair at Middlesex University. Students attended a welcome talk, tour of the campus and the education fair with a wealth of exciting and engaging activities available for them to become involved in. A highly successful and valuable trip for all who attended!
At 10.50 today nearly all students took part in DEAR – Drop Everything and Read. They read their own books, or stories selected by their class teacher, or academic texts on the subjects being studied, and even an extract from a French novel. Our message: Reading is important!
