Year 8 Science Trip to Natural History Museum

20th March @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

The Science department, propose to take year 8 students on an educational visit to the Natural History Museum in London on Monday 18th March (Forms 8ACA, 8ADH,  8ETA and 8LMT) and Wednesday 20th March (Forms 8AIB, 8AMU, 8TN, and 8TTR). The trip will include workshops and exhibitions.

Year 10 Art Trip to Natural History Museum

29th March @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

The Art department have arranged to take year 10 art students to the Natural History Museum on Friday 29th March 2019.  This is an exciting opportunity for students to study live works of art and to draw them from first hand observation, in order to support students’ exam grade. All work produced will count towards students GCSE grade.

A Level Sociology Grade Booster Workshop

4th April @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

Year 13’s revision for Sociology A Level on the 4th April 2019. The day will provide students with a one-day, intensive revision and exam technique workshop taking students through all 3 exam papers which will be sat between May and June 2019. The workshops are designed to refine and sharpen exam technique, build confidence in using skills and cover all topics in the upcoming exam.

Netball – PGL Residential Trip

Selected students are going on a residential netball tournament.  This tournament is a chance to play matches against other schools from around the country as well as have time to take part in communication and teamwork activities.
