Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party

On 17th December the school held its 15th Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party organised by the Prince’s Trust Year 10 Achieve group. The aim of the party is to bring the old and young in the community together at this time of year.We welcomed guests from around the local area, who were entertained by students from the school.There was a visit from Santa, who gave out gifts donated by the students, parents and staff.

Rewards Trip

Yesterday we took 200 students bowling to Rowans. Well done to all the students invited, who’d achieved 100 points and have 97% attendance.
Looking forward to the summer rewards trip to Thorpe Park!

EMC Media and Film Conference

A Level Media and Film studies students met the great Lenny Henry, when they attended the EMC Media and Film conference at the BFI on Tuesday. They learned new skills, and shared opinions and perspectives, which they will be able to apply to their own learning.

Democracy in action

Democracy in action. In assemblies this week Mr Halford shared the main points from each party manifesto and the students will all be casting their votes in the Chace Mock Election. Look out for the results tomorrow!
