Vaudeville Theatre Trip
On Thursday 15th March GCSE and A-Level Drama students went to the Vaudeville theatre to watch ‘Lady Windemere’s Fan’; an Oscar Wilde play directed by Kathy Burke and starring Jennifer Saunders. The trip was a huge success, giving students yet another wonderful opportunity to see live, professional theatre in the West End!
‘Oxford was ‘Bear’ fun!’
Year 10 students enjoyed a great day at St Peter’s College, Oxford. The day included research experience at the Pitt Rivers Museum, a tour of Oxford and an enlightening and inspiring talk by an Oxford music graduate. We also had lunch in the dining hall of the college to experience the communal living of university life.

Jurassic Coast
A very successful and fun learning experience for our Year 12 Geography students, carrying out fieldwork along the Jurassic Coast this weekend.
‘DNA’ at the National Youth Theatre
On Tuesday 13th June, Ms Findlay had organised for a group of Year 9 Drama students to see a production of ‘DNA’ at the National Youth Theatre studios in Holloway Road. The show was performed in the round, with some very clever use of lighting and sound to create atmosphere; this has given the students a lot to think about when it comes to their own practical work in Drama lessons!
Don Juan
On Wednesday 26th April the Drama department took a group of A-level and GCSE students to see ‘Don Juan in Soho’ starring David Tennant. It was an incredible performance that both students and staff thoroughly enjoyed.
Talented Artists at the British Museum
Mr Glyde took a group of gifted artists to the British Museum to sketch art from around the world over the last 4000 years. Everybody found some art that they loved and the whole group were commended on their behaviour and their work.
East meets West at the Greenwich Observatory

Year 12 and 13 art and photography students spent the day at Tate Britain. We are delighted with all of the new artwork being displayed around the school.
