Teacher training at Chace Community School
At Chace Community School we have a strong commitment to teacher development at all stages, from trainee to senior leadership. We work in tandem with London Metropolitan University and Middlesex University to provide high quality teacher training.

PGCE and School Direct at London Metropolitan University
School Direct at London Met is an alliance of nearly 100 schools across London and the South East, each working in one of 4 partnerships. Each partnership is headed by a Lead School, working in collaboration with London Metropolitan University. Chace Community School is part of this alliance. All of these London Met School Direct routes lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE, which carries 60 Masters Level credits. PGCE and School Direct at Middlesex University
Chace Community School also works with ETSA and Middlesex University to provide PGCE and School Direct placements. On the School Direct programme trainees have the opportunity to gain a Postgraduate Certificate, which can be used as 60 credits towards a Masters award in the future.
