I had the pleasure of attending the Enfield Youth Council election event. The Youth Council is made up of 11-17 year olds from across Enfield to represent the voices of our young people and work closely with local Councillors and the Mayor. Over the last few weeks young people across Enfield have been voting for their new Youth Council. It is my pleasure to inform you that Akira O'Garro, Absa Thiam, Jamie Harris, Omari Green and Tolga Celikkalkan were democratically elected onto the Council. That means approximately a quarter of the Enfield Youth Council seats are held by Chace students! 9ETA had a bakesale in support of Enfield Saheli, a charity that support women who are victims of domestic abuse, as part of their Frist Give.
