We are so proud of our Year 10 student who represented Chace this week at the regional final of Jack Petchey's 'Speak Out' Challenge, one of the largest public speaking programmes in England. He performed against 14 other finalists, in front of an audience of students and teachers from schools across Enfield, as well as MPs, VIPs and a panel of judges. He showed true excellence as he spoke with such confidence, passion and composure. We are grateful to his family, teachers and friends from year 10 and the Sixth Form for supporting him at the event. New building update One of the great privileges of this year has been to lead our school as we undergo a school rebuilding project. As part of this we have had input into the design of the new building and recently we have been able to visit the site. This week 6 members of our student council and 2 staff accompanied me on a tour of the site. The visit generated much excitement and curiosity around the progress and design of our building. I am glad to report that the building is still on schedule for handover in the summer holidays for us to move into the building in September 2026. #chacecommunityschool #excellencehasnolimits

Year 12 and 13 ALevel Literature students enjoyed a night of drama and tragedy when we visited the Theatre Royal Haymarket to enjoy 'Othello' by William Shakespeare. This was a really useful and enjoyable experience and the play was transformed from script to stage. The all star cast, music and stage craft really brought the play to life and provided deeper levels of understanding for our students.
