Chace Remembers

Our reflection theme this week has been remembrance. In assembly Mr Bruton challenged the students to reflect during our three minutes of silence on how we have a duty to repay others’ sacrifices by living our lives well. Thank you to the LRC team for organising our poppy sale this year, raising funds for the Royal British Legion.

Thank you to all Chace families for supporting our harvest appeal for North London Foodbank

A huge thank you to all students and staff who donated so generously to our Foodbank collection this year. We collected a staggering 439.7kg of food and household goods – that’s nearly half a tonne!

The Foodbank say thank you for all that was given and to the students who worked hard boxing up and sorting all the items yesterday to be loaded onto the van. Your giving will really help families living in crisis across Enfield.

Well done to 12JD who collected the most items and won the form prize!

End of term doughnuts support young London men

Thank you to our Sixth Form Committee for organising a hugely successful doughnut sale, raising £388.72 for their chosen charity. The 100 Black Men of London is a community based charity led by Black men, delivering programmes and activities focused on Mentoring, Education, Health & Wellness, Economic Empowerment and Leadership.

Bronze Awards for Positive Behaviour and Commitment to Learning

Following the launch of our new Positive Behaviour policy in September, Chace students have been working hard to achieve positive points and rewards. To date, 15011 positive points have been awarded across the school. A special mention and congratulations to our first set of students to achieve 50 points and the Bronze standard – here are our bronze award winners from Year 7.

We look forward to awarding more students Bronze badges and certificates as more students achieve 50 points.
