Chace students are involved in the prestigious ‘scholars programme’ and, as part of this, attended the highly regarded School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London). They took part in various challenging activities including university tutorials on the impact of digital media on society. The students were excellent ambassadors for the school.

Girls Football Success
Wednesday 24 January, the Year 7 & 8 girls football team braved the disappointing weather to play a strong Aylward side.
The girls showed huge amounts of passion and determination, playing some lovely football! Eventually winning 6-0. Well done!
Senior Basketball Result
Our fantastic basket ball senior team were up against a strong St. Thomas More side which did prove difficult at first. However, by the 3rd quarter the boys got themselves into full flow attacking from various angles. Final score: Chace 29 – 54 St Thomas More.
Year 11 Science Masterclass
On January 17th some of our talented Year 11 students attended the first of our Science Masterclass’. They enjoyed experiencing A level Biology teaching on the detailed structure of DNA by Miss Wilson. You can see them here making 3D models of DNA from sweets. We look forward to delivering more Masterclass’ run by A level Chemistry and Physics experts in the upcoming months.
