We propose to take all year 7 students on an educational visit to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, a Hindu temple in Neasden in July. The temple is Britain’s first authentic Hindu temple and will give students an opportunity to extend their understanding of Hinduism and how Hindus worship. The trip will include a visit to the Hinduism exhibit, a tour around the temple and a chance to witness a Hindu prayer ceremony.
