Fundraising at Chace

The student council were delighted to welcome Trae James from WE schools to help them develop some fund raising strategies for the rest of the academic year. They had a very productive working lunch in the Library and will be sharing their ideas with other members of the school community next week. #WEMovement

STEM Week Assemblies

Our very informative STEM week assemblies have been delivered by Leanne Barrett from Enfield Schools Partnership. Leanne’s presentation focused on DNA which is an aspect of the masters degree in Genetic and Genomic Counselling that she is currently pursuing at Cardiff University. We look forward to working with Leanne and ESP on STEM projects throughout the year.

Year 8 Drama Trip

On Thursday 7th March the Drama department (Ms Findlay, Mr Wilson, Ms Trusedale and Mr Levi) and a group of 50 year 8 students attended the matinee performance of ‘The 39 Steps’ at the Dugdale Theatre, Enfield. The comedic performance had everyone thoroughly entertained and the Chace students were even lucky enough to have the show’s producer, Greta Jenkins, meet with them prior to the show!

We Day 2019

Twenty seven Chace students were inspired by WE day at Wembley Arena on Wednesday 6th March 2019. The student council will be meeting with a WE day facilitator at school next week to build on what they have learnt and plan some fundraising events for the coming year. #WEday
