Brilliant Club – the Doctors of tomorrow

Year 8 and 9 pupils involved in ‘Brilliant Club’ had a taste of the life of a university medical student when they attended lectures and seminars at the Guys Hospital campus of Kings College London.

Students were challenged and stretched throughout the day and clearly thrived under the pressure. The tutor working with them was very impressed with the quality of their work and attitude to learning.

A brilliant effort all round!

Year 9’s are the new freshman at Kingston University

On 2nd February 2017, Year 9 students were invited to Kingston University, South London, to experience student life there. At the University, they did many activities with other schools: games using transferrable skills like communication, a personality test, discussions about career options and an interview with University students and staff. This informative visit helped them think about choosing the right options for GCSEs and how that will shape their future.
