Teacher training at Chace Community School
At Chace Community School we have a strong commitment to teacher development at all stages, from trainee to senior leadership. We work in tandem with London Metropolitan University, Middlesex University and the Institute of Education to provide high quality teacher training.


PGCE and School Direct at Middlesex University
Chace Community School works with ETSA (Enfield Teaching School Alliance) and Middlesex University to provide PGCE and School Direct placements. We currently offer teacher training opportunities here in English, Drama, Design and Technology, Science, Music and Business. On the School Direct programme, trainees have the opportunity to gain a Postgraduate Certificate, which can be used as 60 credits towards a Masters award in the future. PGCE and School Direct at London Metropolitan University
Chace Community School has worked in partnership with London Metropolitan University to provide teacher training placements on PGCE and School Direct courses in Mathematics and MFL for several years now. All London Met School Direct routes lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE, which carries 60 Masters Level credits.
