We are delighted that so many of our students are embracing our new points rewards system. Since the beginning of term over 1000 positive points have been awarded to students and many are well on the way to receiving their Bronze Award.
Well done to year 9 as the year group with the highest points total across the school and 7SCH, 8ADM, 9TGo, 10KBW and 11SPA with the highest points totals in their year group.
Teamwork at Tolmers
Year 7 had a wet but thoroughly enjoyable trip to Tolmers this weekend. Thank you to all of the staff who gave up their time to make the trip such a success. Our PTA raised funds throughout the year to pay for the trip. If any parents/carers would like to make a donation to the PTA for next year’s trip please login at www.parentpay.com
In the net!
Our Year 8 and Year 10 Netballers both won their first matches of the season against Heron Hall with two fantastic wins, 8-0 and 16-1. Congratulations to both and here’s to a great start and hopefully the beginning of a winning streak!
A great first week for Year 7 at Chace
Well done to all the Year 7 students who have begun with the end in mind this week on their exciting learning journey at Chace. They have worked hard all week and deserve a good rest this weekend. They will need all of their energy for next week and their trip to Tolmers.

Welcome back to successful learning
Welcome back to successful learning at Chace and a special welcome to our new Year 7 and 12 students. I am delighted to be writing to you for the first time as Headteacher of Chace.
This week in assembly I challenged the students to begin with the end in mind, encouraging them to visualise the successes that they will celebrate when they leave Chace. I reminded them of my vision for each and every one of them:
- To be successful – well equipped for further study, university, apprenticeships and ultimately the world of work
- To be happy and fulfilled – forming positive relationships, enjoying new experiences, resilient and enjoying life
- To be fit and healthy
I look forward to leading the whole school community to improve on present best through high expectations of work, behaviour, organisation and first class teaching.
