Pastoral Support
We are committed to supporting the wellbeing of every individual in our community. Our pastoral care provision is designed to ensure that everyone feels safe, valued, and heard.
Our Approach
Pastoral support is at the heart of what we do. We recognise that emotional wellbeing is closely linked to personal growth, confidence, and success. Our team provides a supportive environment where individuals can talk openly and receive guidance when they need it.
What We Offer
-
One-to-one support for personal, emotional, or social concerns with a dedicated school counsellor. As well as scheduled sessions, we offer a weekly drop in.
-
Guidance and mentoring to help build confidence and resilience
-
Safeguarding and wellbeing support to ensure a safe environment for all, through tutor times, enrichment day and Chace +
-
Strong relationships with teachers as every year 12 student sees their tutor twice a day, and Year 13 students see them several times a week ensuring that they are well known and have a key school contact
-
Tailored Key Skills lessons to provide up to date and relevant information preparing students for future independence and to be active citizens
-
Signposting to external services when additional specialist support is needed

A Safe and Supportive Environment
We foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and kindness. Everyone is encouraged to speak up, seek help, and support one another.
