Physical Education Department

At Chace, our aim is to provide students with a high quality Physical Education curriculum which inspires all students to develop a lifelong love of sport. We provide students with a wide range of activities, so they can develop their levels of physical literacy in a variety of different challenges.

The Physical Education department aims to offer experiences which will enable students to enjoy different forms of activity through performing, planning, evaluating and working with others.

We believe strongly in the importance of participation and it is our hope that all students will leave Chace with a positive experience of Physical Education and the desire to lead active and healthy lifestyles in the future.

Students are offered extra-curricular opportunities which range from recreational clubs and school team training, through friendly matches to fully competitive league and cup fixtures against Enfield and Middlesex schools.

We believe that opportunities to compete in sport and other activities build character and help to embed values such as fairness and respect. Self-confidence, self-esteem and self-discipline are all characteristics that improve readily in the environment that is created within lessons.

Students and parents are invited to follow the Chace PE department on our social media platforms, to keep up to date with current events in the department.
