Jurassic Coast
A very successful and fun learning experience for our Year 12 Geography students, carrying out fieldwork along the Jurassic Coast this weekend.
Journey beyond Chace
Year 12 have had a busy week, beginning to prepare for their journey beyond Chace. Last Friday, they visited the North London Higher Education Fair, held at Middlesex university, where they were able to speak to over sixty universities and apprenticeship providers about their options and today we had over 20 professionals visit us, giving Year 12 the opportunity to find more about careers in a wide range of areas including Aerospace Engineering, Firefighting, Investment Banking, Architecture, Law and Performing Arts. All of our visitors were incredibly impressed with the professionalism, enthusiasm and confidence displayed by our students – well done Year 12.
Year 12 Ethics Conference
Year 12 religious studies students enjoyed a day of lectures with renowned British philosophers Dr Peter Vardy and Dr Bernard Hoose. One of our students articulately argued against the motion ‘this house agrees that euthanasia is the most loving thing to do’ in a debate.
