CHACE LIBRARY

The Library is at the heart of Chace Community as a place that supports both academic study and creativity. Offering a wide selection of books and resources, the library encourages students to independently review their learning and provides support in academic growth. We are passionate about making the library a space where all students are able to visit regularly.

Opening Hours:

Open Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.10pm, it is staffed by a librarian who is on hand to support and encourage the student’s learning.

Study Spaces:

Offering both private and group study spaces, Chace library aims to cater all types of learning styles. Pc’s are also available on a first come first serve basis where the students have access to the printer and photocopier. For those that love to read, there are comfortable reading areas and plenty of new stock to choose from. Sixth form students are encouraged to use the library space in their free time to maximise their time and prepare them for their transition into academia.

Workshops and Events:

The Library endeavours to promote a modern culture of reading through involving students in creative ways. Our Librarian runs various workshops to encourage student’s creativity through spoken word poetry and writing competitions.
