Today marks one year since the Grenfell tragedy. In the days after the fire, the Grenfell community came together in a great show of unity, and an enormous amount of support poured in from across the whole of the UK.

At Chace, along with many schools in Enfield, we want to celebrate the spirit of people coming together.

On Friday 15 June, we are supporting the UK-wide Green for Grenfell Day. Green for Grenfell Day aims to spur people across the UK to celebrate solidarity and diversity within their own communities.

We are inviting all members of the Chace community to wear something green tomorrow, Friday 15th June 2018.  This is not a non-uniform day, but students are invited to wear one green item alongside their uniform eg hairbands, wrist bands, socks, tie, hairband etc.

I look forward to Chace doing their bit to show solidarity with the Grenfell community and to celebrate community cohesion.
