The Chace reflection for this week has been The Butterfly Effect. Mr Jones led the assemblies, teaching us all about Chaos Theory in maths and reflecting on how when combined, tiny actions we take to improve our learning can lead to extraordinary outcomes.

Science trip to Disneyland Paris
DofE Training Day
The sun shines on our Year 10 DofE students during their Expedition Training Day. They spent the day learning how to navigate using a map & compass, pitching & striking tents and cooking a meal using camping stoves.
Hala Madrid 2019!
Year 10 Epping Forest
Year 10 Chace Community students visited the Field Studies Council (FSC) in Epping Forest to complete their physical fieldwork. They had to compare a number of sites along the Loughton Brook River for changes in physical parameters downstream.
Year 10 RE trip to the Synagogue
Year 10 Religious Studies GCSE students visited Belsize Square Synagogue to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day. They took part in a range of workshops, discussions about the events and heard from individuals who had direct experience with the Holocaust.
Year 11 Pre-Public Exam success
A record breaking 74 students received self-designed Year 11 ties in recognition of their progress and achievements in the recent pre-public exams. Congratulations!
