Well done to the 16 Bronze Duke of Edinburgh students that completed their 2-day qualifying expedition at the weekend covering a gruelling 15 mile hike in the sweltering sun and temperatures in excess of 30C. All showed great teamwork and determination to complete it in the heat.

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award – Expedition Training Day
Woman in Black
On Tuesday 14th November Ms Findlay-Goddard organised to take 30 Year 10 GCSE Drama students to see the long-running ‘Woman in Black’ at the Fortune Theatre, Covent Garden. Students had a fantastic time watching the dark and thrilling play, with a number jumping at some of the most tense and scary moments!
Year 10 Graphics Trip
The Year 10 GCSE Graphics students enjoyed a successful trip to the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour to see how graphic products were used in the films and to investigate design careers in the film industry.
First Give Awards Ceremony
A Year 10 Chace student was selected from thousands of students from over 170 schools to co-host the First Give Awards ceremony at City Hall, Central London yesterday evening.
Working for Experience

Year 10 Theatre trip
On Wednesday 29th March Ms Findlay, Mr Wilson and Ms Truesdale took Year 10 GCSE Drama students on a matinee trip to see ‘The Miser‘ starring Griff Rhys Jones, Matthew Horne and Lee Mack. The show was hilarious and the students really enjoyed this experience!
Expedition Training
Successful day for the Year 10 Bronze Duke of Edinburgh group. They are now trained in navigation, cooking and putting up tents ready for their expeditions.
